In the previous chapter, we studied how to indicate a specific time with the help of the particle 에.
In this chapter, we will learn how to express the idea of the beginning and end of an action in time, forming expressions such as "from ... to ..." or "since ... until ...".
The particle 부터 serves to indicate the beginning of an action in time, while the particle 까지 indicates the end. They can be used together to show the unfolding of an action, from one given moment to another given moment.
민지는 8시30분부터 5시까지 일해요.
→ Minji works from 8:30 to 5:00.
나는 일본에 10월 10일부터 15일까지 있을 거야.
→ I will be in Japan from October 10 to 15.
가게는 9시부터 8시까지 열어요.
→ The store is open from 9:00 to 8:00.
그 수업은 3월부터 6월까지 진행될 거야.
→ This course will take place from March to June.
